It’s Danny Trejo vs Pig Soldiers in Bizarre ‘Bullets of Justice’ Trailer

Danny Trejo is known for his varied and interesting work selection over the years — From Dusk Till Dawn, Grindhouse, Machete — but his newest project may take the cake.

Trejo stars in an upcoming action film called Bullets of Justice, and judging from the newly-released trailer, it’s going to be bonkers. The movie takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a breed of pig-human hybrids are now the ruthless dominant race, and a rag-tag group of humans try to rise up against them. Here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting:

During the Third World War, the American government initiates a secret project named ‘Army Bacon’ in order to create super soldiers by breeding human beings with pigs. 25 years later a breed called “Muzzles” have occupied the top of the food chain, eating and farming humans like animals. Rob Justice (Timur Turisbekov) is an ex-bounty hunter working for the last line of human resistance — a group of survivors hiding in a nuclear bunker deep underground. His mission is to find out how muzzles came to power and destroy them.

The movie was filmed in Kazakhstan back in 2017 and is a crowd-funded production that was originally intended to be a pilot for a new TV series before the recent switch to a movie format. Trejo portrays a mysterious character known as Grave-Digger, and we’re guessing he’s a part of the human resistance against those nasty pig overlords.

No word yet on when Bullets of Justice will hit theaters or, more likely, a streaming service, but we’re definitely looking forward to seeing Trejo make some bacon out of these pigs when it does.
