The ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Trailer Is Here, And We’re Pretty Sure Everyone’s Going To Die

The first full-length Game of Thrones season 7 trailer is here, and things don’t look very good for anybody currently residing in Westeros.

The trailer begins with Cersei Lannister, now Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, describing her various enemies to her brother Jaime, and there sure is a lot of them: In the East, there is Daenerys and her army; in the South, the new Dornish-Tyrell alliance; in the West there’s the resurgent Greyjoys under new leader Euron; and in the North are the Starks and House Arryn. Yet despite these threats, Cersei remains confident the Lannisters will crush them all. But, is that tactical awareness or simple naivety?

We also see Dany assume a stone throne at the castle of her birth, Dragonstone; Arya in what appears to be the North; Littlefinger scheming with Sansa — and separately getting manhandled by Jon Snow; Dany’s Unsullied army clashing with Lannister soldiers at some form of stronghold (King’s Landing?); and Dany riding Drogon above her Dothraki army as it tears apart whatever force is unfortunate enough to stand in their way. The trailer then ends with both Jon and Davos reminding us that the real threat is the White Walkers — and that they have finally arrived.

Check it out below, and give us all of your crazy theories!

It’s officially time to get excited. Game of Thrones season 7 premieres on HBO on July 16.
