It’s time to make Cardassia (and the United Federation of Planets) great again with an unlikely mash-up of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s big bad and America’s newly-elected President Trump.
I’m not a big ‘tweeter’, but even I can appreciate the social media platform’s excellent ability to enrich our world with parody accounts. From fake Queen Elizabeth to That Guy In Your MFA, these parody accounts definitely represent the stranger side of the Internet, and while not all of them hit the right mark, finding a good one can be like discovering a new way to eat your favorite food.
Given Donald Trump’s love of Twitter, we weren’t surprised that there were a ton of accounts parodying America’s 45th President. But, imagine our surprise and glee when we discovered somebody is re-hashing President Trump’s in the voice of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Gul Dakat.
The charismatic Cardassian is arguably one of the best villains ever to grace the Star Trek universe, but these tweets might just be his best performance yet.
