The First Trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight Goes Full Bayhem

Michael Bay’s Transformers movie franchise might not have received the critical plaudits that other blockbuster ‘universes’ have, but that’s not stopped it from becoming one of the highest-grossing movie series at the global box office. Now, the Robots in Disguise are set to embark on a new era of storytelling with the first trailer for next year’s Transformers: The Last Knight, and it might just be the most Bayhem-filled production we’ve ever seen.

In the build-up to this trailer’s release, we were teased with numerous images of Medieval Knights. In the trailer, however, those legendary warriors have been pushed to the side by Mark Wahlberg and more explosions than your eyes can possibly handle in one viewing.

But, if you’re hankering for some Medieval swashbuckling, the movie’s premise should give you cause for optimism. As the trailer hints, ‘The Last Knight’ is set to span multiple galaxies as well as multiple timelines back here on Earth. From the age of Chivalry to the Second World War to, er, wherever the hell Mark Wahlberg is, this might just be the craziest Transformers movie yet. Oh, and did we mention it has Sir Anthony Hopkins, too?

Transformers: The Last Knight is released on June 23rd 2017
