Alien Communication Is at the Heart of the Trailer for Documentary ‘Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind’

There seem to be an awful lot of alien documentaries being released lately. Could that mean that Earth is finally nearing the time when our planet will make contact with extraterrestrials? Well, according to yet another new space alien documentary, that time has already come.

The documentary Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind is produced by a familiar face to UFO fans in Dr. Steven Greer. The prominent ufologist previously produced the docs Sirius and Unacknowledged, but in Close Encounters, Greer’s exploring some new territory that even the most diehard UFO conspiracy theorist may find hard to believe. The documentary asserts that global panic about the UFO phenomenon is a worldwide conspiracy, facilitated by governments in order to keep the public afraid of impending interplanetary war. Greer believes that the way to combat this propaganda is for everyday humans to contact the aliens on their own through… uh… meditation? The trailer isn’t totally clear, but presumably, the full film will offer more of a blueprint on how you can phone E.T.’s home using nothing but your mind. Whatever the case, it looks like the film will at the very least feature some pretty compelling UFO footage. Check out the trailer below.

Can humans really communicate with aliens using only our minds? Are the world’s governments really creating global panic by implying that a war with aliens is on the horizon? Or is Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind just making stuff up? Decide for yourself when the movie is released digitally on April 7.
