Hilarious ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Season 3 Promo Wants You to Have a Beer With Bruce Campbell

Ash vs Evil Dead is returning for its third season on Starz next month, and the series has just released a new promo that makes us wish we could watch the new episodes right now.

The show has always had a great tongue-in-cheek sense of humor (and with Bruce Campbell as its star, how could it not?), but the latest ad takes things to the next level. Presented as a commercial for the series’ fictional beer, Shemps, the ad sees Ash in a bar staring seductively into the camera while various 80s-looking women dance and flirt in over-the-top goofy ways, ending with the tagline: “Don’t think, drink Shemps.” It’s super weird and funny, and the whole thing is set to Cutting Crew’s “I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight.” Check it out below.

Makes you want to go out and drink an ice cold Shemps, doesn’t it? The beer of course doesn’t exist, but this isn’t the first time it’s made its way into the real world via a fake advertisement. Lucy Lawless, who portrays the evil Ruby on the series, starred in a faux Shemps ad in 2016 for International Beer Day as a lead up to season two. This ad took a decidedly different route, marketing the brew as “Serious beer for serious evil.” Makes sense.

Ash vs Evil Dead season 3 premieres February 25 on Starz.
