Netflix’s hit sci-fi horror series Stranger Things was packed full of nostalgia, with references and nods to 80’s movies and a synth-heavy theme tune helping to transport us back to a decade when pop culture was effortlessly cool. Now, you can hold that nostalgia in your hands thanks to the latest release of the show’s soundtrack, which comes in the form of a beautifully retro cassette.
Created by Lakeshore Records, the cassettes double down on their retro cool by coming wrapped in packaging that resembles a mini VHS tape. The end result is something so brilliantly 80’s it makes me want to break out my acid wash jeans and neon t-shirts.
The cassettes are released on July 14th, the 1st anniversary of Stranger Things Season 1’s release. If you want to pick one up, the only place you’ll find them is at your local Urban Outfitters store.
