If you’ve long dreamed of being eaten by a dinosaur but fear that you missed the boat by 65 million years, well, today’s your lucky day.
Jurassic World: Dominion is currently filming (or it was before COVID-19 struck, anyway), and you have a chance to be a part of the movie in a scene where you get eaten by a dinosaur, cementing your place in cinematic history as one of the franchise’s most unfortunate souls. And the best part? It’s all done for charity.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity came about thanks to Justin Bieber. No, that’s not a misprint. The singer challenged Jurassic World star Chris Pratt to take part in the All In Challenge, an online charity with the goal of stamping out food insecurity. Pratt accepted the challenge and came up with the idea of giving two people the chance to get eaten on-screen in the next Jurassic World movie.
There are two separate contests that will result in two different winners. One is an auction that, as of this writing, has a leading bid of $43,000. If that’s a little rich for your blood, then you should consider entering the sweepstakes contest. A $10 donation there gets you ten entries to win, while a $100 donation earns you 200 entries. If you’re not looking to spend any money, you can also get one entry for free, but since all of the proceeds go to charities like Meals on Wheels, Feeding America, and No Kid Hungry, we’d recommend putting some skin in the game.
You can enter the sweepstakes here, while the winners will meet their maker when Jurassic World: Dominion opens in theaters on June 11, 2021.
