The Predator is still in production, and in case you forgot that the franchise resurrection is actually happening, director Shane Black is here to remind you.
The filmmaker, who co-starred in the 1987 original, took to Twitter on March 30 to share a photo from the set, and it’s giving us serious flashbacks to the first Predator. The picture shows no monster, no characters, just a shot of a seemingly quiet forest as sunlight breaks through. But we all know that just because you can’t see the Predator doesn’t mean he’s not there, as Black reiterates with his caption: “Shhhh…. He’s coming.”

If the glimpse of the set isn’t enough to get you excited about the upcoming sequel, then what Black did earlier that same day surely will. After a fan asked the director on Twitter when we might be able to see a trailer, Black didn’t disappoint. “Expect a teaser mid-April,” he replied, adding, “How’s this — my brother and I used to actually close our eyes when the theater ran trailers. Wouldn’t it be cool to go in knowing nothing?” While the bit about going into the movie blind won’t sit well with fans hungry for a glimpse, the news that a trailer is coming in another two weeks or so definitely will.
The Predator hits theaters on September 14.
