Wesley Snipes has fought many things over the years: Vampires, Sly Stallone, and even hustlers on the basketball court. But, rarely does he go toe-to-toe with extraterrestrial invaders…until now, that is.
A new trailer for The Recall has just been released, and it features all the hallmarks of a crazy piece of sci-fi horror. From good looking teens who just want to have fun to creepy houses in the forest, the trailer hits some familiar notes, but the difference-makers here are Wesley Snipes and the series of creepy alien butts he’s probably going to kick.
The movie was actually shot to take advantage of Barco Escape, a panoramic theater format that uses three screens for a more immersive viewing experience. It’s also one of the first movies ever to use its lead actors for a supplementary virtual reality experience, but you can catch it a far more run-of-the-mill format when it’s released on VOD and select 2D theaters on June 16th.

The Recall centers on a group of friends vacationing at a remote cabin lake house when aliens attack Earth. Charlie (Jedidah Goodacre) and his friends Brendan (R.J. Mitte), Annie (Laura Bilgeri), Rob (Niko Pepaj), and Kara (Hannah Rose May) are forced to rely on an eccentric and mysterious hunter (Wesley Snipes) with special knowledge of the attack, explaining this day has been prophesied for years.
