The Lego Batman Movie is currently tearing up movie theaters around the world, beating out some stiff competition from the likes of John Wick 2 and Fifty Shades Darker to take the number one spot a the box office. One of the secrets to the movie’s success is its many brilliant Easter eggs and nods to nerd culture. There are cameos from characters that live inside and outside the DC Universe, references to Hollywood history, and much much more. But, it’s just emerged that one of the Easter eggs is able to go with you wherever you are.
If you’ve seen the movie, you will probably have noticed a cameo from a famous voice of the tech world. Apple’s Siri makes an appearance in the movie as Batman’s AI assistant, the Batcomputer. That in itself wasn’t such a big deal, but because good things do happen to nice people, Warner Bros. has taken the Easter Egg full circle and put the Batcomputer into our iPhones.
By activating Siri and speaking the words Hey ‘Puter (definitely more fun if said with a Batman-style growl), Siri will treat you like you’re the Lego-fied Dark Knight himself.
Don’t mind us, we’re just heading off to fight crime with our iPhones.
