Terminator 2: Judgement Day is returning to theaters next month, giving fans a chance to witness Arnie’s antics in beautiful 3-D for one night only. But, the celebration of James Cameron’s sci-fi classic doesn’t end there because, just a few weeks after those screenings, a brand new 4K version of the movie is set to be released on Blu-Ray.
A look at the trailer above tells you that the remastered version of T2 is worth our attention on its own, but it’s the limited edition packaging that’s got us really excited about the release.
For a mere $175, you can purchase the Terminator 2: Judgment Day EndoArm Limited Collector’s Edition 4K Combo Pack box set. As its mouthful of a name suggests, the collector’s edition set comes packaged with a life-sized T-800 EndoArm which, somewhat disappointingly, isn’t actually made of a futuristic hyperalloy like its movie counterpart. Only 6000 of the sets have been made, and each one is individually numbered.
If you’re not convinced that you need a creepy metallic arm staring back at you while you watch TV, there’s always the standard Blu-Ray set on offer as an alternative. Both the EndoArm set and the new Blu-Ray set come with a hefty list of bonus features, including a brand new documentary featuring interviews with the T2 cast and crew. Check out the full list of features below:
